Open your senses to Taste of the Philippines 2021, a world class event showcasing the sight, smell, touch, sounds and tastes of Philippine and Filipino American experiences.
Waterfront Park will be transformed to a one-day family-friendly event where attendees can simply be passive viewers, consumers, active participants, or supporters beyond the day of the event.
A few of the experiences are listed below. Check back after August 10, 2021 as we will update with more information.
Local, national and international artisans are invited to display art of any medium. Attendees will be able to meet, discuss, and even purchase artwork onsite. We have created an Artists Alley To accommodate up and coming artisans with affordable booth space.
As we celebrate the 60th Anniversary of the House of the Philippines, various cultural and historical displays will be on the grounds. We’ll recognize 50-years of Philippine and Filipino American social and community activism of 1971.
What kind of Filipino event would we have without food? It is called “Taste of the Philippines.” We’ll have food trucks and food booths selling familiar traditional savory dishes and sweet desserts, along with a few surprises just for this event.
Our Entertainment Zone (E-Zone) will have games for all ages and opportunities to win prizes throughout the day. How fast can you climb our coconut tree? How many basketballs can you make in our one-on-one shoot out? Play for fun or competition, we got games for every skill level.
There’s no bottle service, but we have a VIP package that will put you upfront at the main stage, exclusive food samples, beer and spirits, special gifts for your support. Check back later as VIP tickets will go on sale August 10, 2021.
